It had lost it's sheen over the years and was marked. Our customer decided to approach David to see if he could restore the walnut dining table to bring the best out in the timber.

]]> Our customer’s walnut dining table was in need of restoration having been finished in a very dark colour.  It had lost it’s sheen over the years and was marked.  Our customer decided to approach David to see if he could restore the walnut dining table to bring the best out in the timber.

David stripped and carefully sanded the table before applying a lighter stain to show off the wood’s natural beauty.  He added a wax finish, to highlight the grain and sheen.  As you can see, the table looks fabulous and will do so for many years to come.

Our customer was delighted, posting a 5* review on our Yell.com listing: “What an excellent service David provides!  He is professional, friendly and easy to chat with.  He transformed our dining table, managing to bring out the beautiful walnut grain that had been almost hidden underneath the original, very dark polish.  A wonderful job!  We are very happy to highly recommend him.”
