This dark stained sideboard was badly scratched on the top and doors and was heading for the tip. David stripped, sanded, primed and refinished in a Farrow & Ball contemporary pigmented lacquer – giving a perfect finish. The sideboard now had pride of place in the client’s kitchen.
This is a great technique to revive old pieces of furniture that are marked, damaged or just not in-keeping with the style of today.
