This beautiful antique gentleman’s dressing table was showing signs of wear and tear and fading by sunlight, with the mahogany wood becoming bleached blond in colour. David carefully restored the piece to its former glory – a fabulous transformation!
Our customer asked David to transform her Priory drawers with a complete colour change. Previously stained with a dark finish, David stripped the unit back to bare timber and lightly sanded it before priming.
Our customer’s walnut dining table was in need of restoration having been finished in a very dark colour. It had lost it’s sheen over the years and was marked. Our customer decided to approach David to see if he could restore the walnut dining table to bring the best out in the timber.
David restored our customer’s Bridgeman garden furniture, including bench, chairs, armchairs and table which had silvered over time and was unprotected against harsh sunlight and wet weather. He applied a finish that both protects against UV ageing and fading as well as mould, algae and fungal attack – it now looks like new.
Our customer was renovating and wanted transform their existing fire surround to match existing dark coloured furniture and new décor. As you can see, they were delighted with the result!
This priory coffee table was stained very dark and our customer wanted the piece restoring back to the natural oak. David carefully stripped back the old finish to reveal the veneered oak top. As you can see from the before and after photographs, the coffee table is now as new.
This traditional oak sewing machine table has been with our customer’s family since 1954 and was is need of restoration. Check out the before and after photos to see the transformation!
This c.1950’s teak nest of tables in an uncommon design was in need of restoration. David stripped the old polish away and carefully sanded each table to bring the veneer back to life.
David was asked to restore three Parish Council Exterior Cabinets that had been in situ for approximately 20 years. Made from mahogany with oak posts, the cabinets required stripping down, sanding and refinishing with a hardwearing exterior lacquer.
Some bad water damage to an oak sideboard and dining table detracted from its natural beauty. David restored the pieces to ‘as new’. One very happy customer.
